Department of Zoology
The Department of Zoology, Synod College was established in 1987 with Pre-Degree Science or Pre-University Science (P.U.Sc). In 1992, the Degree Pass Course was introduced and Zoology Department became a full-fledged Department and was affiliated to North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. The Degree Pass course was upgraded to Honours Level in 1999.
