SHORT NOTICE INVITING TENDER
- Sealed tenders along with affixed non – refundable court fee stamp of Rs. 2000.00 are hereby invited in 2 (two) cover Bid system e.Technical Bid and Financial Bid separately from the Registered Class-I contractor of Meghalaya P.W.D. (Building) experienced in Building works, having a valid Electrical License /Labour License/Registration with Employees Provident Fund Organisation/Employee State Insurance Corporation from Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India/Building and other construction workers from State Labour Department and having requisite qualifications with experience of executing similar buildings for the under mentioned work and will be received in the Office of the Principal, Synod College, Shillong up to 11:00 AM of 24th November, 2020. The bids will be opened on the same day at 12:00 Noon.
- The Technical Bid will be opened on the same date and hour in the presence of the intending Bidders or their authorized representatives. However, if the last date is declared as a holiday, then the next working day will be the schedule date for receiving and opening of the bid. The Price Bid of the pre-qualified bidder will be opened on a specified date in the presence of the bidder or their authorized representatives and the date for opening of Price Bid will be duly notified.
- Detailed tender papers may be obtained from the Office of the Principal, Synod College, Shillong, from the 12.11.2020 to 21.11.2020 during office hours on payment of non-refundable fee of 3,000.00 by Banker’s Cheque / DD payable in favour of ‘Principal, Synod College, Shillong.
- NAME OF WORK: –
Group I – (New Construction item under RUSA)
i)Construction of 4 classrooms including staff toilets & Differently abled toilets, temporary Canteen and a Staircase.
Group II – (Renovation & Upgradation item under RUSA)
(i) Dismantling works at Principal’s room, Administrative Counter, Basketball Area & Chemistry Lab.
(ii) Renovation to Principal’s room, Administrative Branch & Accounts.
(iii) Construction of Permanent Stage at Basketball area.
(iv) Plastering & Painting works at the Corridor of the Administrative building.
(v) Renovation to Chemistry Lab – Working Platforms, Drain & Store room.
(vi) Brick works, Woodworks, Painting works, Floor finishes–Tile works and marble works to a few classrooms.
- APPROXIMATE TENDER VALUE: –
Group – I = Rs. 95,00,000.00
Group – II = Rs. 57,00,000.00
Total = Rs.1,52,00,000.00
- RATES: – Rates are to be quoted on flat percentage basis i.e. AT PAR/ABOVEthe Schedule of Rates for Building Works for 2015-16 as applicable in Khasi Hills/ Jaintia Hills /Garo Hills District and AT PAR / ABOVEthe Schedule of Rates for Electrical Works for 2016-17 as applicable in the state of Meghalaya.
- TIME OF COMPLETION: -12 (Twelve) Months from the date of issue of Final Work Order.
- Non-Tribal Contractors shall have to produce valid Trading License before purchasing Tender Forms failing which no tender papers will be issued.

- The Office of the Principal, Synod College reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tender without assigning any reason thereof.
