Work Experience:

  • Completed research work for Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) on thesis titled “Studies on the biological control of Colletotrichum lindemuthianum (Sacc. & Magn.) Briosi & Cav. infecting French bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)” under the supervision of Prof. M.S. Dkhar, Department of Botany, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya.
  • Worked as an officiating lecturer in the Department of Botany, St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong.
  • Worked as a Senior Research Fellow under DBT project work entitled “Improvement of locally adapted rice cultivars of North Eastern Hill Region by incorporating blast resistance genes through markers backcrossing” at Central Agricultural University, Umiam.
  • Worked as a Project Assistant under NAIP project work entitled “Bioprospecting of genes and allele mining for abiotic stress tolerance” at Central Agricultural University, Umiam.
  • Completed project work entitled “Studies on the earthworm microflora in two paddy fields” in partial fulfillment of Master’s Degree in Botany from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU),  Shillong.
